walk in the park

a few weeks ago, i met a girl from korea finally. We have known each other since I was 15 years old, but it was the first time to see her. i took her to Aoyama street which i introduced before in my blog at first. and then, we went to Roppongi hills that is the most highest building in tokyo.

below is the picture from there. the tower you can see is Tokyo tower. the light is usually red, but the color of it sometimes changes to different colors due to the theme.

above is the picture of Roppongi hills.

Today

I practiced playing the flute in park today. it was so good weather that many children played baseball, soccer, tennis and other sports there. i love to see them. they make me happy.  when i played the flute sitting on the bench, a kid walked up to me with a smile. he starred at me for a while and i kept playing it. it was somehow amazing time for us.

below is the picture that i took from the angle between the branches. the sun looks shining star, doen’t it?

Awaji island

On Monday, i went to an island called Awaji-shima in Hyogo pref with my friends. This island sufferd great damage from the strong earthquake in 1995. I used to live near from here when i was young and experienced the earthquake directly. But here was a lot changed better than what i expected. Before our visit, i thought most would be still broken and need to reconstruct because the quake was so strong that it is said to take two decades for the complete revive. But i was proven totally wrong. below is the picture of Akashi strait bridge between the island and Akashi city.

We ate Awaji hamburgers at car park

The only way to transport places in and round the island is driving. There is no train and public bus.  I wondered how the elder people go shopping because it seems impossible if they live in South of the island.

Below is Naruto bridge to Tokushima pref.

Shibuya walking

To those who don’t know, Aoyama is the center of fashion and refined culture in Japan. Those who are rich usually tend to live here because the streets are lined with neat rows of stores and houses.

Today was really nice day. It seemed that spring came to Japan. I spent this morning and afternoon just wandering around Aoyama.

Below are the pictures of the area.

to the basement of polesmith’s shop

Having walked around the area for a few hours, i have no difficulty in believing why many foreigners tend to stay here, because there are various types of cafes and restaurants. In spite of the fact that everything is almost expensive, i love to visit here. The streets are usually very clean and things are very well kept. After about 15 minutes walking the way to the end of this street, we can see a huge park called MEIJI JINGU which was a palace a long time ago.

Below are the pictures inside the place.

Above is the picture of japanese traditional wedding. They are parading inside the area.

Hello world!

Hello,world!

This is my first post in this blog. First of all, I have to ask excuse to you guys because my english wrtiting skill is not so good. Probably i will make gramatical mistakes from now.

Ok, let me introduce myself a little bit.

My name is Hiroki Yamashita. I am a Japanese. I live in Tokyo for now. but i am supposed to study in Russia for a year from August. My major is international economics and politics. Also, I study international communication. My hobby is scuba diving. I usually go to sea to do it in summer season. Bisides, i love to take photos. So hopefully i would like to put my photo which i take in usual days on my blog. Please enjoy my photos!

First post is about my walking in Sumiyoshi and Asakusa those towns are Japanese old and kinds of nostalgic towns on last weekend.

When I walked down the main street of Sumiyoshi, i found somewhat nice cafe. All materials in this cafe were harmonized beautifully and the dishes and cups look like Russian ones.

I orderd a pot of milk tea. It was so sweet. I stayed the cafe for a couple of hours studying Ecological test.

After that, I took a walk to Asakusa town where there is a famous temple called Sensou-ji. Recently i often visit there for some reasons. The temple always makes me move. you know, a lot of travelers whether Japanese or foreigners visit there.

The light is turned on at night. As you can see, it’s very beautiful without any doubts. I think you can easily understand why many people come to here.

Like this, i enjoy to take walking with my a single-lens reflex camera. I am happy if you have good inpression or interest in Japanese culture through my photos.
